Jeff and Christi Boyd are our new missionaries from Cameroon in Africa. Jeff serves as regional liaison for the countries of Cameroon, Congo, Equatorial Guinea and Rwanda. In his education role, he visit and assesses schools, encourages in-service training of teachers and managers and works with schools as they define goal and methods to achieve them.

Christi, who will be our featured speaker at the Family Vacation Bible School on July 22, is the companionship facilitator for the Presbyterian Hunger Program’s Joining Hands Against Hunger initiative in Cameroon.

Offering to be received during Family Vacation Bible School is for the Bill and Bette Bryant Crisis Nursery in Lusaka, Zambia. During the years Bill and Bette served with The Outreach Foundation they were moved on their trips throughout Africa by the plight of vulnerable children. They helped to create Crisis Nurseries as a life-saving “safety net” homes for orphans and abandoned children. To honor the Bryants one of the homes was designated as the Bill and Bette Bryant Home.
